Task 1

Understand Sleeping Data


The user should be able to immediately understand what happened during the previous night upon opening the app. However, the original design has low information density and ineffective information hierarchy on the home screen, providing only limited insights.

Task 2

Understand Sleep Trend


As the app continuously collects users’ sleep data, it enables data scientists to derive meaningful sleep trends across defined time cycles. However, the original design used only a calendar view that encodes sleep scores with color, preventing users from perceiving patterns and changes over time.

Achieve the Goal

OZI Sleep connects 3D printed hardware with a mobile app to effectively improve users’ sleeping status. However, the current solution just plainly showcases the data rather than encourages users to achieve their original goal.
