About Me
Living in two different countries, US and China, has given me the opportunity to immerse myself in different cultures, broadening my perspective and developing an open-minded approach to design. I strive to use typography and visual identity to create unique and memorable designs, which brings the text to life with a focus on clean and modern design principles. Collaboration with clients and other designers is essential to me, and I’m always eager to explore new ideas and techniques. I’m also skilled at constructive criticism, believing that every design can be improved with thoughtful analysis and feedback, and constantly push myself to the next level.
My design interests extend beyond just human-centered design, as I also have a great love for eco-centric design focused on non-human species. By treating animals as clients, I extend the same respect and responsibility as to human clients without interfering in their lives. As designers, I believe we have a responsibility to develop new sensitives and empathy towards animals by rethinking their needs and this is something that truly motivates me.

Experience
- Founded Fuzz Lab, specializing in handcraft tufting, via the collaboration with a local boba shop to
build reputation and attract consumers; established its first individual studio after generating $40,000
in revenue within 6 months - Executed the studio's brand strategy, defining its visual identity by designing logomark & logotype,
menu, tutorials, posters, and brand guidelines with an average of 200+ likes on the Instagram posts - Conducted the immersive experience of tufting, from the independent reservation system in the
website construction to in-person studio guidance - Oversaw social media that reflects brand ethos and succeeded in attracting 12k Instagram followers
- Participated in the development of AR lens to optimize warehouse equipments, using 360 videos to simulate the practical operation experience for 2000 officers in Logistics Warehouse Experience Zone
- Visualized the Logistics Warehouse in terms of exhibition materials, including the wall, floor, and displaying desks, and administered a three-people team to follow the aesthetics for design assets
- Designed a template on the Taobao Platform through defining purchasing factors of diverse commodities groups by 500+ returned questionnaires from customers and investigating current designs competitors, achieving a growth of 6.8% in click rate (still running)
- Updated an existing brand of 7000+ chain stores by designing logo, brand guidelines and customer experiences to fit in diverse retail store layout
- Launch several digital presence using Figma and WordPress for four school clients, acting as the lead of UIUX design team, including College of Liberal Arts official website
- Design data visualization spreads for UT Austin campus statistics and autism research
- Optimized professor and students online instructional experience through graphics, animations, and interactive widgets for French Connexion (online French Textbook), increasing viewers by 23%
- Curated a user flow and design assets of U.S black precursor exhibition with online interface and in-person installations, collaborated with CCI and MASS design agency, attracting 5,000+ web view
- Held public speech about the design journey of the Precursor as team representative for over 200 audience
- Participated in developing an AI platform, Research Cloud, for scientists and researchers to locate and analyze data in a localized deployment with higher user accessibility
